There are many pleasant, interesting places and things in Takasaki, Shibukawa, Jomo Kogen area in Gunma. Rich nature of mountains, Onsen hot springs, Traditional crafts and arts, local foods, Sake breweries, Fruits picking(early summer season) and beautiful contemporary art museum and even more! Shibukawa is famous for the town of Initial D, drifting theme Japanese anime and manga. There are many related places of world popular anime “Initial D” such as manholes and museums. I’ve had Initial D tour which covers local traditional art crafts studios, visiting Sake brewery, Temple and Onsen.
We use a private car to go around the city in a full day, so maximum 5 people can join this tour. I can make itinerary and arrange to visit those places depends on your interests. Exploring fun and interesting spots while hearing the backstories makes your trip more meaningful and memorable. Meeting and talking with locals with a guide is bringing you as if you would be a part of.
Takasaki city in Gunma is located about 1 hours from Tokyo by bullet train. It’s possible a day trip, also it’s nice to stay over night.
I will make an itinerary and do a tour based on your requests. Approximately, the tour will take10 hours. Basically, we use bullet train and private taxi in these area for saving our time and move efficiently.
The tour time depends on our visiting spots, health condition and pace.
